MICROSOFT OFFICE WORD 2007

I have Microsoft Office Word 2007 and it won't ket me type anything. When I click on the page and start to type, the bottom says "This modification is not allowed because the selection is locked" I HAVE NOOO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED! It was worked before. I think my brother did it. But is there a way to fix this? Or unlock it? Or something? PLEASEEE HELP! Thank you

If Microsot Word came with your computer, it was just a trial version. You'll have to buy the full version to unlock it. In the mean time, you can open all of your files with the free openoffice:

If you're sure you bought it, then the file is password-protected. If you don't know the password, you won't be able to unlock it.
