Hi im Molly, and im 13. I broke up with my boyfriend because he was getting too busy for me. i still love him, but now its like he can't bare to look at me. he stays away frome me too. im not sure wat that means. sometimes when we make eye contant in class, we smile and he looks at me the way he did when we were a couple. he acts like my best friend on day and then avoids me another. can u try to tell me wats going on. thx for listening :)

yourrtrustyhelpline answered Wednesday September 26 2007, 11:35 pm: well, he might just be protecting himself. after all, you did just break up with him. he might be sad and feel some sort of resentment towards you. was he really sad when you broke up with him ? even if it didn't seem like it, he might be hurting really bad inside, and he probably just doesn't wanna get hurt again, so maybe he just wants to avoid you sometimes. (defense mechanism) you may not think guys are as emotional as girls, but the truth is, they are. it's just that they get emotional about different things and react differently. just give it time, and he'll probably become comfortable with you again soon.
