If you want to store the videos on a disk for later computer access, but you *don't want to play it in a DVD player*, go to file>new project>data CD or data DVD. Select DVD only if you have a DVD burner AND are going to use a blank DVD disk. Then simply use the built-in explorer in the center of the window to select your video files and add them to the project. Watch the bottom bar to see how much space you have left. If your videos are too large to fit into the disk, then you need to compress then into xvid format using mediacoder: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
Then select the compressed files instead. If the xvid files won't fit, then you've got some unusually huge files, and there is no way to move them to a disk.
If you want to play it in a DVD player, ask me another question. Expect an extremely long and complex guide on how to accomplish that ridiculously difficult task. [ theymos's advice column | Ask theymos A Question ]
