Question Posted Wednesday September 19 2007, 9:09 pm
Long story short, I have a ex who dumped me for his ex and wanted me back and what not and it's been a long while since we broke up, although i still have some sort of feelings for him and everyone knows that.I avoid ever going back out with him. I wouldn't now or the near future.I'm with someone for 5 and half months. I haven't talked to my ex for months now and he showed up at my school (he graduated already) and he was at my lunch. I was really surprised to see him there considering I thought I wasn't going to see him.. in a long time.Since he's not in highschool anymore.I got a weird feeling in my stomach and I just couldn't believe how much he effects me. I thought that feeling was gone or most of it.It surprises me that he could still get something out of me.Anyways, he tapped me on my shoulder and walked off.I had a weird look on my face too. I really didn't know what to do.. could this possibly be a problem? Or should I just shrug it off because I'm with someone. Honestly, my ex wasn't worth my time and I wouldn't go back out with him.So any input or something?I'm just over whelmed..

I suggest you just try not to think about him. After all, I'm sure you won't be seeing him around often anyways. Focus your energy on your schoolwork, your friends, your current boyfriend, etc. Keep moving forward in your life and keep yourself busy.
The down side of any relationship is that even after you break up, there is always going to be a little awkwardness when you bump into each other, whether things ended well or not. It's just a fact of life. Try to relax and don't think much of it. Your reaction wasn't anything out of the ordinary. [ sugarplum07's advice column | Ask sugarplum07 A Question ]
