what are "emotionally colored arguments"? like, in 12 angry men, when they have emotionally colored arguments?

One definition of color:

[T often passive]

If something colours your opinion of something, it influences your opinion in a negative way:

I'm sure my views on marriage are coloured by my parents' divorce.

I'm trying not to let my judgement be coloured by that one incident.

It basically means like "emotionally-charged arguments". They have really tense arguments since a lot of emotions are in play when one is in an argument with another.
