What are the chances I'm pregnant?

Question Posted Friday September 14 2007, 5:56 pm

17/f
Okay, here's the deal.
I had sex with my boyfriend (and we WERE safe, we DID use a condom) back in July. That was the last time we did it, we haven't done it since then.
I was supposed to start my period on August 4, 2007.
It didn't arrive, and me and him started freaking out a bit. So I bought some pregnancy tests and about 2 weeks after my (late) period, I took one. It came out negative. A little while later that month, I STILL hadn't gotten it and I decided to take ANOTHER one. THAT ONE came out negative also. Then, when it hit the point of being a MONTH LATE, I took ANOTHER test and it came out NEGATIVE. I've never had my period be this late before and I'm just really stressed and annoyed that it still hasn't come yet! I had HORRIBLE cramps once or twice during August, so I FIGURED it was on its way, but I guess not. So basically, my question is: even though we were safe and all 3 of the tests came out negative, what are the chances that I'm pregnant? PLEASE help me out with this. I can't tell my mom any of this because she's REALLY Christian and she doesn't approve of the "sex before marriage" and my dad is still in the "she's my little girl" phase. PLEASE HELP!!!

The more you stress about it, the later it will come. Stress, sudden change in eating habbis and worrying delays your period even farther then it is now. It could just be that it is on an irreular cycle, that is very common for girls in their teens. Just relax and wait a few days. Do NOT stress over it, it will just make matters worse. It could also be a serious matter, so if it doesn't come in a few more days, you should go see a doctor. It could really harm your body if you didn't! Just do this and im sure you will be just fine!

You used a condom, you're pregnancy tests came out negative, I say your chances are pretty low.
However, this site is not an online pregnancy test, so I suggest that you go to a doctor if you are really worried. Tell them you want this to be confidential. If you got your period when you were like 15 or 16, its normal. Your period takes a while to stay completely normal and on time, I guess.
