dying my hair two colors.blonde and black.
i want to do my hair somewhat like this.

so id have to dye it black and blonde.
anyone have any tips
on how i can do this without
going to a salon?

One thing you definately want to do is get alot of pictures from that hairstyle and buy the right colors.
I think it'd be best to dye it all BLACK first and have somebody with you to help do you don't miss spots or if anything happens and you cant do it, they'll be able to assist you.
Once your hair is dyed you need to go out and get BLEACH for your hair, but i seriously recommend you go to a SALON for the bleaching part because its a seriously dangerous and the hair stylers would know how to do it.
Bring a print out on how you like the bleach and where it will go. And before they do it, ask them if they are SURE they'll be able to do it. If they hesitate go somewhere else. A lot of hair salons are getting into the scene hair dyes and styles so they will probably understand what you want.
If you dont go to a salon read ALOT of self explanatory tutorials on how to bleach your own hair. But REMEMBER wear GLOVES to prevent irritation and damage of skin.
