If losing a lot of weight or dieting causes you to skip your period, what do you have to do to keep your cycle & get back on track?? Is gaining back some weight the only option or do you just wait?? Thanks!!

But dieting isnt goin to make you stop getting your period because your body is still getting nutrients your just eating better things. If your not dieting or if you dont have an eating disorder i would wait it out and if you still dont get it then you have a problem and you need to go see a docter right away. I would tell your mom if your not getting it or someone that you can trust. [ katie_babey's advice column | Ask katie_babey A Question ]

tabby14 answered Sunday September 9 2007, 4:20 pm: usually gaining back weight won't help either. maybe the problem is something is out of wack so just go to the doctor and they can figure out what the problem is. usually some birthcontrol can fix that problem. Hope i helped =]
