Question Posted Thursday September 6 2007, 12:38 am
Who should I play at QB, Daunte Culpepper or Philip Rivers. I still think Culpepper has an arm, but he has no one to throw to in Oakland. Rivers has great talent, but LT will be running the ball so much.
Thanks.

Matt answered Friday September 7 2007, 6:26 pm: You should go with Rivers, because he's younger and certainly more durable than Culpepper, who has never gotten back to his former eliteness. Culpepper has talent still, but also has no talented receivers to throw to like Randy Moss, now that he's been dealt. Rivers does have Tomlinson running the ball a lot, but I believe they'll lighten up on him and throw more. Rivers also has a great tight end to throw to in Gates. Culpepper also has no line to protect him, and will probably get hurt. Rivers has the line that helped LT score a record number of touchdowns last season. He is still going to throw some. Pick up a good RB
to make up for it. None of them throw the ball as much as they used to. I think your right about Culpepper. All rumors so far is that Mcowen is starting though. If he does a good job then Daunte
May not play as much.
