advicenators column

Question Posted Wednesday September 5 2007, 2:47 pm

i know i should ask advicenators this, but i dont know how, so maybe a moderator could help me or something?

whenever i click the "your advice column" to view my column, it says this,

No column was found with the specified username, so either there was an error in the username specified or the column has been deleted. If you would like this name for yourself, register at Advicenators.com and start your own free advice column!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE: If you followed a link from an AIM profile page, and ended up here, it is because AIM's new version is stupid and cuts off the username when people paste it into their profile. You can fix this by adding everything after the "=" in the link by hand. Don't write me about this, write AOL and tell them they suck.

im deffinetly registered and that, i have been for a few years. i can ask questions(obviously lol) and answer peoples questions. im not banned or anything. why is it saying this?

DangerNerd answered Wednesday September 5 2007, 6:39 pm:
If you have any HTML characters in your username, they are stripped out by security program.

Therefore:

U/SE<R>N&A{M}E

Would become:

USERNAME, which wouldn't be right, so the system things no column exists.

If you e-mail me at:

dangernerd@gmail.com with your old account name and what you would like it changed to, I will do it for you.

DN.
