I have tried putting in a tampon a couple times but couldn't even get it to start going "in". I'm going to try again soon but is there a reason why i can't and/or are there any tips or whatever to inserting it besides putting that K-Y or whatever jelly on it? Thanks so much! And if I for some reason can't put one in what do I do when I have swimming at school? It's only for 2 weeks but I might have my period then?

Relax sitting on the toilet, tilt it toward the small of your back, and it should go in. You'll know it's properly positioned when only the string protrudes outside your body. Good luck!
