one hour of jump rope per day?

okay i am so out of shape. ive never been in shape but i cant run for beans. i can only jump rope. would it be okay for me to do one hour of jump rope per day? to lose weight?

Yes, jumping rope will definatly help, but you may get tired easily. You should try doing 50 jumping jacks every night, then after a while push you self to 60, then 70. You can try doing crunches, I do 100 everynight, it helps a lot. You should definatly start jogging thought, running helps get you into shape a lot! even if you run for 15 minutes, if you run everyday for 15 minutes, after a while you will be able to run longer.

Deffinitely, jump rope is great exercise and it will help you lose weight. However if you really want to build endurance, it may be a good idea to try to start running. Start slow and built your way up. Do not run more than four days a week. Mix it up. =]
