Xingtone Ringtone Maker

Question Posted Wednesday August 29 2007, 8:31 pm

I bought Xingtone Ringtone Maker a long time ago, and I haven't used it in about 3 months. So when I opened Xingtones it was alright and everything, but then I tried to open a song and It wouldn't work.. it would just have the dotted lines but it wouldn't play the song. Anyone know what the problem is?? I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, changing the format (.wav, .mp3, .cda, .mpeg) and I looked on their website at FAQ but none of these worked..... anyone know the problem?? I've done it before, so I have about 10 songs on my phone, but now all of a sudden it doesn't open the song.

Dear Xingtone problems,

Have you upgraded to the latest version? If you haven't, that may have something to do with it, I am not sure how picky they are about that with the Xingtone ring maker.

Here is a link to contact support:

... but, BEFORE you do that, please double-check yourself by following this Xingtone video tutorial to the letter:

... so that you can, if it still fails, tell them EXACTLY which step in the tutorial failed.

Good luck with Xingtone... It looks like fun!

P.S. If you upgraded(?) to Windows Vista, you will need to download a special version to make Xingtone RingTone Maker work in Windows Vista:
