I didnt faint before, but I almost. Even though my body wasnt moving in circles. Well for me, sometimes even if I pick up something, i kinda get a small blackout and my head starts to hurt a bit, but then I get better. Probaly blood started rushing. Its a posibility! =]

this actually happened to me the other day when i was outside (i had been doing marching band practice outside for hours in the heat), i did basically exactly that except i sat down before i officially "blacked out"... anyway, the reason for mine was dehydration. make sure you're getting enough water! usually by the time you realize you're extra thirsty or feel dehydrated, you've already been dehydrated for quite some time. also, the standing up thing- you may not be getting enough iron. if you take a multivitamin every day, you should be fine because i doubt you're anemic. that actually happens to me sometimes too, the other morning when i woke up, i got out of bed, opened my shutters, and then i fell down. but yeah, the other day when i blacked out from dehydration, that is exactly what i was thinking... all of a sudden i broke out in a cold sweat, and i felt like i was moving around in circles, and it reminded me exactly of a broken t.v. being "lightheaded" or whatever when you stand up is supposedly normal to teenage girls, so you're not going to die anytime soon :)

you might be getting dehydated. you should drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day. when your in school carry a water bottle around with you and try to fill it up a couple times a day. if you keep feeling dizzy and weird a lot go to the docter because there could be something wrong thats more serious.

well i fainted once when I was little and I remember exactly what happened. my mom told me that my cousin needed to get his appendix taken out, and I got scared... I remember standing up and then I started to get dizzy, then everything started to get black and next thing i know i'm on the floor.

When you sit down or lay down for a long period of time, and then you stand up, the blood starts rushing down from your head to your feet, so you can start moving... and when the blood is rushing too quickly, that's what causes a black-out, when you see black for a couple of seconds and then it turns back to normal. YOu don't need to drink more water, but when you sit down/lay and then get up, get up slowly.. not like turtle slow, but just slowly so that the blood isn't rushing.

I hope I helped!
