Question Posted Wednesday August 15 2007, 12:26 pm

13/F

Ok so here is the thing, there is this guy, David (I changed his name), and I asked him out then a couple months later, he broke up with me. Then he asked me out and I said yes. Now three months later, we talk on the phone a lot. Then one day his little sister called me and said that he didn't like me, then he got on the phone, and said that wasn't true. Then a couple days later, I went over David's friends housw Mike, with my BFF Steph. Nothing happened, but Mike kept saying how David didn't like me and thought I was fat, now knowing Mike I ususaly wouldn't believe him, but then I was thing about what his sister said.
Then his friends called me and said he wanted to break up with me, but in the background I heared him yell no I don't!
Why would everyone say that if it wasn't true?

Sounds to me as if he has some pretty rotten friends. I can see why you would wonder though.

You need to talk to him...away from all his
friends and ask him what is going on. Are his
friends telling the truth and he is just being
nice by saying it isn't true? Or are all his
friends just immature little creeps? I think
there is a good chance the little creeps are
jealous because he has a girlfriend.

Whatever he says, hes the one to believe. :)

First- a couple of things-

You don't have to tell us you changed people's names- we know you did- as everyone does it.

Okay- so you need to learn to trust your boyfriend. Don't listen to other people trying to say that he doesn't like you. If it was true, he wouldn't make such an effort to scream "NO I DON'T" in the background or something.

So his little sister is probably saying it because she's trying to be funny. I know that I do it to my sister's boyfriend- but he knows that I'm joking.

Mike is probably doing it because he's probably the typical jealous friend. He's hoping to break up the relationship so that he feel like he's not left out. Whether this is his conscious intent or not- that's got to be the real reason.

Overall- don't worry about it. I'm sure if your boyfriend didn't like you anymore- you would know. He would act different around you and it would be obvious. You two are just fine =D.
