too long of a period

i started takin birth control almost a month ago, and my period hasnt stopped since. i figured it would stop if i stopped takin the pill, which i did a few days ago, but my period only got worse... is this healthy?

Your period should not be going on for months. What pill are you taking?? I would suggest typing the brand into google & researching your question on their website. Look at their FAQ, facts about the pill, etc. You should ask your doctor & schedule a gyno appointment or just an appt with the doctor that prescribed you the pill.
