Period

Question Posted Monday August 13 2007, 1:57 pm

I got my first period ever on July 31st and I've had it ever since and I still have it. Tomorrow's going to be the 3rd week I had it. Is this normal on the first one? I'm kinda worried about it.

It's normal for your period to be irregular when you first get it, or even years after you've gotten it. So I think you're fine, however, if it continues for another week or so -- I would get it checked out, just incase.

When you first get your periods, they are almost always irregular. I wouldn't worry too much.

If that particular one continues for another week or more, i would have your mom take you to see the doctor. its nothing to worry about, i'm sure :)

If you need any more help, please leave a note in my inbox :)
