are men really dumb?

Question Posted Sunday August 12 2007, 11:56 pm

I am in my 40's and married. I am really concerned either i have it wrong and i have issues or my husband is really dumb. He takes this thing men can only think of one thing at a time to new levels - and when he does make a decision he stuffs it up - he has got us into all sorts of problems mostly financial so i seem to do everything to keep us moving forward - my gripe - is that he has a lower end management job but i know he HAS to make lots of decisions during a day - its like i get the bum end of things - am i being mean or are most men dumb anyway and need us women to keep them and look after them ?? I work full time in a senior management role and run a business after hours besides doing all the house budgeting and management - and I mean ALL - even talk to tradesman that we need to fix the house! sorry but I'm being completely honest

i'm not sure if your husband is dumb, but it's obvious that your putting more in than he does. it is true though that lots of men get into the habit of relying on their wives/girlfriends, probably because girls naturally have a more nurturing nature. my advice would be to talk to him, rationalize, and make sure he understands exactly how much you've been putting in. make a plan to split responsibilities? hope i helped.
