sound on a video

Question Posted Saturday August 11 2007, 9:13 pm

I took a video of my friend playing a song on his guitar. Is there any way to get the sound from the video as a separate file? Like so that I could put the song without the video on my ipod.

Use [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) <zamzar.org> if the video is less than 100MB. In step 2, choose "mp3".

If it's more than 100MB, use mediacoder:
[Link](Mouse over link to see full location) (download candidate release, not dev)
Click "add" then right click the video file and select "set output file", and name it something.mp3. Then on the middle-left, choose the "video" tab, and UNcheck "enable video". Click "start" on the top. Done.
