right im building a new rig for my computer and im kind of confused on the dual core issue.
i have an intel(r) core(tm)2 cpu 4400 2.00GHz proccesor i was wondering i know the dual core is basically 2 proccesors but is it 2 1GHz proccesors or 2 2.00GHz proccesors?? anyone have any idea feedback would be great.

However, a single-core processor is better for a computer used for gaming only. Dual-Core is focused on multi-tasking, and(at this time) it sacrifices performance. If the programs you having running in the background while running idle use more than 10% of your CPU, you need a dual-core processor. If you're trying to make a lean, mean, gaming machine, you want a single-core processor with 4GHz+.
