yea i just asked a question about a picture
but my scanners broken what should i do to fix it? im good with computers but ive never had to do anything with my printer before and my dads out of town...

If the scanner is physically broken(it won't turn on or operate at all), you'll have to take it in to get it fixed. If it just won't work with your computer, read the manual and use their installation software. Go to the manufacturer's website if you don't have documentation or software.

You can take the negatives to wherever you get it developed and ask for digital copies, most places do this.
