The first thing you need to do if exfoliate your lips. A good tool to use is a small, clean, childs toothbrush. Use small, gentle, circular motions. You should do this three times a week with just water, or you could also try using a lip mask. You can buy this at drug stores, but Mary Kay cosmetics has a really good one called Satin Lips. After leaving the lip mask on for about 2-3 minutes, use the toothbrush to exfoliate. After this, you should put a thick coat of Vaseline lip balm on your lips. This comes in a small squeeze tube.

Well, it's about constancy, and bad habits.

If you chew the lip gloss/chap stick/lip balm, or you lick your lips constantly, yeah, it won't work.

But, if you just put some lip balm or chap stick one before bed, and don't lick your lips, they should look soft and moisturized. (Don't use lip gloss...it might stick to your pillow)

Plus, I read that you can exfoliate(sp?) them.

Thats a little odd, but what I suggest is drinking a lot of water. Maybe you lake that to make them moist? But keep putting on chapstick too, maybe the combination of H2O and Carmex will work.

Hope that will help!
