If you have zits on your body or just face, what should I use instead of proative, that is too expensive and actually works. ooh and something that doesn't dry out your face. Thanks!!!!
so i would reccommend going to the dermatologist. and seeing what works for YOUR face.
the only problem i had with going ot the dermatologist is that one of the medications she prescribed me was $480!! luckily my insurance shaved off $360 but it was still quite pricy.
dermatologist prescribe diffrent things like face wash, cream to apply ro your acne, and even antibiotics to also help reduce acne and inflamation.
but other than going ot the dermatologist i would reccommend proactiv. its not too pricy compared to other products. and it works great, my sis and friends use it. :]
superstarblue89 answered Thursday August 9 2007, 10:53 pm: I suggest neutrogena oil free acne wash...it comes in a body wash and a face wash...it doesn't dry out your skin...it just removes the oil thats necessary...i use it and it works great...I used proactiv for a while but found that it just takes up too much time in my day...I started using this stuff and never looked back...and proactiv knock-offs don't work...I also suggest using an astringent in the morning and right before bed time to help with zit removal...I suggest sea breeze...it's 3 bucks and works great. hope I helped. i have proactive and it works really good.
but the main ingredient in it is benzoyle peroxide so make sure it has that in it.
