my aim says "attempting to sign on again too soon" when i ttry and sign on, what do i do?

It means that it can't sign you on & you keep trying to even though it won't let you.
Wait about 10-20 minutes & try again.

Sometimes AIM won't let you sign in consecutively. So you have to wait awhile.. I'd say like 20 minutes and it should be fine.
Its kind of like when you type too many messages- and it won't let you send any for like a minute- that's kind of what is happening here =D.
