so i was looking at your column and saw your pic...and i really love your hair. i was thinking about getting mine cut in a similar style to yours. im from ohio too so where'd you get it done?...how do you style it like that & is it your natural color? if it isnt whered you get it done cause i really liek the color!

I don't have the same style or color that I had in that picture anymore, but when I got it cut like that it was at MC Hair Consultants, which is in Cuyahoga Falls. If you're not from around there, then I'm sure there's a lot of other places that could give you the same look, because it's pretty simple. Just a lot of angled layers and side-swept bangs.
To get my hair to look like that, I basically just flat-ironed it an then used volumizing hairspray to give it some lift.
The color I had in that picture was mostly my natural hair color, but I did have highlights. I did the highlights myself, but I wouldn't recommend that you do that. Just make sure if you go to a salon to have it highlighted, you tell them to give you chunky highlights and not those stupid thin things. If you want to do it yourself, I used the L'Oreal Chunking Kit & I'm pretty sure they only make one shade of it.
