ok ive been dating this guy on and off since about the 10th grade and now im a freshman in college and he lives a few states away from me but that hasnt really been a problem for us we've been doing the long distance thing for about a year now and um he asked me to move in with him and i have no problem with that we both have jobs and cars and money for apartments and stuff but my parents absolutely HATE him and i love him so much but they dont approve of him cause he is "bi-polar" ive been hiding my relationship with him for a year now and i dont want to anymore he means everything to me,how should i tell my parents about my plans to move in with him?? please help

Well your an adult and are able to make your own decisions, tell your parents that this is a decision and to please respect that decision. They may be upset and disappointed but they have to understand that your not living with them anymore, and you can make your own decisions. But just think long and hard about this if you have been on and off with this guy for many years, I would maybe wait until you guys have a more stable relationship than to just jump into moving with each other.
