White Screen On Computer Boot Up??

Question Posted Wednesday August 1 2007, 2:15 pm

So on my laptop just suddenly when i press the power button to turn the thing on a black screen slowly fades to a white screen and then nothing. I hear the computer booting up but it just has this white screen that doesn't go away. Then occasionally Ill get an image when i turn it on but there will be flashing lines and stuff. Any Ideas??

theymos answered Wednesday August 1 2007, 8:14 pm:
The screen is broken, probably a loose cable somewhere inside the laptop. This isn't something you can fix yourself, see a computer repair place.
