adobe photoshop wont let me save

Question Posted Tuesday July 31 2007, 12:02 pm

I have adobe photoshop, and I'm trying to add text to this one picture, but it wont let me save it! I add the text, and then when I click save this box pops up and says something like "Do you want to turn of maximized capability? If you turn this off.....blabla." And so I click OK. And then I go to "MY PICTURES" and in my pictures place, instead of the picture is the little blue icon thing that says AP (for adobe photoshop) I dont get it! Please someone help!

yourrtrustyhelpline answered Tuesday July 31 2007, 2:19 pm:
it might be saving in a certain format that no other program besides adobe photoshop can read, mine use to do that too. next time you save, pay attention to the format. make sure it's either .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, or .bmp.
