Period Problems

Question Posted Monday July 30 2007, 8:01 pm

16/f
Ok my period is totally messed up at the moment and i have no idea why. Its late now by 7-10 days. So obviously i didn't get it. Its been missing one here and there for a while now, ive had my period for years now and there has never been a problem, it was always regular and on time give or take a few days.

Lately, ive been getting a lot of really heavy, clear, watery discharge. A lot more discharge than i normally get.

Heres roughly what my periods been like.. ill write down a few months so that you get a rough idea of the pattern lately

START - FINISH
Oct - 25th - 2nd (nov)
Nov - NOTHING after the 2 days from oct..
Dec - 8th - 14th
Jan - 11th - 16th
Feb - 15th - 21st
Mar - 21st - 27th
Apr - NOTHING
May - 10th - 16th
Jun - 13th - 20th
Jul - NOTHING

i know its probably nothing to worry about, and is probably just one of those normal things but its starting to get on my nerves now, expecially after it was so regular b2fore, i havent changed anything like my diet.. im not stressing as far as i know and have not been sexually active since almost a year ago.

Any ideas what it could be?? ANY ideas would help, even worse case senarios

Don't be nervous. It takes years (usually around your 20s) until periods actually come every 28 days. Last year there was a point where I missed 2 months worth of periods.

And even after your periods start coming regularly, other factors can affect it too, like weight loss, weight gain, stress, change in diet..so many possible things.

So no biggie. Really.

Even if you've have your period for years it can still go a litle wacky. Alot of things determine it really: Do you eat healthy? Do you live in a house with a lot of girls? Are you sexually active? If you don't eat well sometimes it confuses your body. Living with alot of women is scientificly proven to sometimes change your periods to cycles as well. And you know what happens if your sexually active don't you? I hope my info helped but i think its really the eating habbits, because of the discharge, change your diet and see if it helps:)
