I have really curly hair. So it's hard to straighten. I want an straightener that will make it easier...it normally takes about an hour to straighten it perfect. I want one that is under $30 though.
And I need sprays to help my hair not get damaged by the heat. What do I use?? (brands etc.)
And is there anything I can put in my hair to make it stay straight??
Additional info, added Sunday July 29 2007, 4:11 pm: Also...I don't need a wet to dry staightener because they harm your hair too much. Correct me if I'm wrong.... (please and thank you!!!). LM answered Monday July 30 2007, 2:40 am: I use a Wet2Style straightener- on dry hair. I got it for around $25-30 at Target and they're still the same price, I checked last week. It's lasted me over two years and the finish is just now starting to really wear off. They only harm your hair if you actually use it on wet hair. It's a good design, though, because if your hair's a bit damp in a few places, it doesn't stop working & has vents to get the steam away.
As for products, there's a million. Tressemme makes a really nice heat protecting spray, as does VO5. Creams & lotions, gels, etc. take your pick. Loreal makes a really good one from the studio line. It's called HotStraight or something of that sort. Pick one you like the smell of that works for your hair type, anything works really for heat protection.

Also you can almost go anywhere, to find straightnig spray/cream, that will protect you hair, just go in the hair products aisle in you grocery store, or pretty much anywhere, for straightners and spray/cream.
