Soon I am getting a haircut, but I don't know exactly what I want to do. My hair has always been long and I want to keep it long, but I'm willing to take off maybe 2 inches (I need to get rid of dead ends anyway).
Can someone please tell me what my face shape is? All these sites ask for your face shape to tell you what hairstyle would be good for you, but I can't tell what it is.
And also, I don't know if they would look good on me but I've kind of been interested in side bangs. Not really extensive side bangs, and I would want them to be long enough to tuck beind my ear if I got them (would that look stupid? If it would I just won't get them). But also all my natural blond highlights are underneath my hair (not sure how that happened though?) so if I cut side bangs they wouldn't be visible :(
Any suggestions? And could anyone tell me my face shape while they are at it?

RATZY answered Sunday July 29 2007, 10:01 am: your face shape looks like oblong, same as me, i have really long hair too. but too get a good idea of what your face shape maybe, is take a photo of yourself with your hair tied back in a high pony, and then get a paper and trace the outline of you face and that would make it easier for you to see your face shape. I think with long hair layers would look good, you could also get your hair feathered from the front, so if you do a side parting some days then it may look like side bangs, but when you go down to the hair dresser you can ask them what would look good, they are more expert at this kind of stuff.
