for beggeners what would be the best tyep of guitar to get? what would be the fastest and the best way to learn?

I say get an accoustic if you're a beginner. That's what I had to do. And I suggest only getting lessons if it's a teacher who'd teach ONLY you and not in a group. That way, he can teach you at a faster pace, because he has to make sure everyone's on the same level if it's a group. But I think you should try teaching yourself.. Buy books to learn the chords, notes, how to hold the guitar, etc. But most of my guy friends who taught themselves are best at it.

i learned on a junior acoustic.

its small, so perfect for my hands, and was a lot easier than learning on a regular sized one.

im sure your local music store has guitar lessons, or you can get a dvd or books.
