I'm supposed to head up to my college for freshman orientation on August 16th. I'm really mad because they're forcing all the incoming freshman to do all these activities. It's all mandatory and I DON'T want to do it! Bascially, they make us get there, give us practically an hour to move into the room, and then they're forcing us all on a bus and carting us around town. I'm sorry, but I'm not interested. I'd much rather unpack and then go have fun the next day.
They want us to grow up and meet people on our own, yet they force us to do this stuff.
Anyway, my question, what was your freshman orientation like? What kinds of stuff did you do, if at all? Did it make your move in really stressful?
