God.

Question Posted Wednesday July 25 2007, 8:15 pm

I was raised a Catholic, but I'm feeling more agnostic now.

Can anyone give me some scientific proof that God is real? And don't give me that, "I have a friend that claims he saw 'him'" crap. That's not PROOF to me.

No links please.
And why do the God-worshippers refer to God as *Him* with capitalized letter on the H, astricts, and all? Uh, it's not necessary.

Thanks in advance too!

There is no scientific proof that he exists, nor is there historical proof that he exists, this includes the so called Bible.

there is no scientific proof. if there was the whole christian faith as i know it, would be brought down. beacuse God said HAVE FAITH in me. not to go find facts. then have faith in me. he said to have FAITH in him. but my friend, im goin pray for you, that God will help you find Him. hope this helped

God bless.

okay im same as you raised cathloic but i also feel agnostic sometimes. like if god is everywhere why do we have to go to church to worship him? and just stuff like that. but in religion like we'd read the bible things just make sense. and id if you heard this one but i guess theres this ragg or soemthing that was discovered that jesus wipped his face with and it has is face imprinted on it and like you can jsut tell its him. but idk if you ever get the chance read some storys out of the bible it actually come together a little.

Just to warn you- this may not be what you want to hear- but rate my response on how it answered the TWO questions.

There isn't SCIENTIFIC proof God exists, I believe.. but that doesn't mean He doesn't. There is the Bible- as the person below says. Its really about faith. I mean- if He just came out and showed himself- people would be scared out of their minds.
If you don't believe- no one can make you. If you're looking for proof, no offense, but you obviously are doubting the existence of and therefore don't believe in Him despite the proof you get.

I'm more answering this to address your 2nd question. Its actually a matter of grammar to capitalize "He", "Him", etc. Its a deity term, which means its related to religion. Whether you think God is God, Buddha or whatever- its capitalized. It is used to distinguish a religious deity from a normal, everyday Joe. And it is very necessary.
