heyy..so i've been talking to this guy on aim ..and i have only seen his pic not met him in person but he's really sweet and loving and we like each other a lot! then he asked me out and i said yes! yesterday he told me he wants to see me in person.. i said yes but when i told my friend about this she said that i shouldn't cuz i dont know excatly who he is and he might be a raper or someting..but he sounds just like a 16year old..what do i do? should i go? or sould i just stop talking to him? or make an excuse??

I can't exactly help you too much here, this is your decision. It's important that you really listen to your heart. Do you honestly think he's who he says he is? Does he have myspace, etc? If so, check it out. Make sure everything on his information matches any information he gave you.
If you're sure and have a good feeling, you could meet him.
If you do decide to meet, make sure:
- You meet in a public place.
- Take friends with you.
- Keep your cell phone with you at all times.
- Let your parents know where you are.
All around, please be safe! Following the guidlines I gave you should help.
But if you have ANY doubts at all, I wouldn't meet him. I'd also talk to your parents about it before doing anything.
