Question Posted Monday July 23 2007, 1:38 pm

I don't know if I put this in the right place but does it hurt to donate plasma? I have never donated blood or had blood taken.

I haven't had plasma taken, but I recently had blood taken. It wasn't all that bad. Honestly, and I'm a HUGE wuss when it comes to pain. On a scale of 1 to 10, it was about a 4.5ish.
Good Luck!

It would hurt to donate plasma, yes, but only because of the needle. To donate any kind / form of blood, you'll need to have the needle placed there so they can take the blood.

If you're nervous about it, go to this site [ [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) ] and they have steps of the process, etc. :]
