i have windows XP and my dad was really gay and made this side bar that like pops out every time you roll your cursor over to the left of the screen. It is like gray..with little dots and stuff. It just has a bunch of programs that we barely use. He did it cuz he wanted the desktop to be more clear, but have those programs in reach.
any way i could get rid of it?
or another way to keep programs close, and not on my desktop, or start up list?
Right click the taskbar, unlock it and select "quick launch". Move the sliders so there is space, then drag a shortcut or exe to it.
To remove something from the taskbar, right click it and select "delete". This will remove it _only from the taskbar_, and it will still be in the start menu etc. [ theymos's advice column | Ask theymos A Question ]
