Moniter

Question Posted Wednesday July 18 2007, 8:43 pm

Hey :]
My moniter is being weird. It will randomly start getting darker, then black out. When this occurs, I have to unplug it for about 2 hours for it to work again.
Any idea what is wrong?:]

Old monitors do that after a few years, you just have to get a new one. Good luck!

**Update for those reading this from Google, or from my column. The asker contacted me via IM and we resolved the problem. It was a driver issue, uninstall your monitor and Graphics Card drivers, then install them from the manufacturer's site.**
