I have dial up ( I know I need to upgrade but I can't at the moment, how can I make my computer faster?

Turn off anything that uses a internet connection. Like aim, msn messenger, yahoo, limewire, bit torrent, downloads, windows updates, itunes updates, etc..

That should make your internet speed a little bit faster.

That'll just speed up your computer, nothing can speed up dial-up internet.
