Okay I have a brother who is 13 and he has a friend. This friend has a brother thats my age. I really want to meet this boy and his mom and little brother want me to meet him too. Except everytime i go to a soccer event (which is how my brother and my crushes brother know eachother) he is never there. I have known this family for 3 years, never met the boy at all. But something tells me if would be a good thing if i did. Well they had a party on the beach and my crush didnt go but his little brother went and he goes my brother has a girlfriend now! and i was like oh shit great. Now i dont know what to do because basically i got my hopes up but i can get over it. But its just the fact that i know something could happen if we just met!
What would you do in this situation,

They're dating, not engaged. There's nothing wrong with meeting him & being friends. Just because you guys can't date, doesn't mean you can't be friends either. You can never have too many friends. Maybe you won't even actually like him as a bf, only as a friend. Hang out & see how he is. There's nothing wrong with giving him a chance.

ok now i know this is hrd i went through this once ok what i would do is just if you ever get the chance to meet him then just hang out with him for a little bit and become friends then when him and his gf break up go for it
