i've been talking to this guy all summer but we've liked each other for like ever. but he went on vacation a couple days ago and called me last night. he said his dad got a job offer in tennessee and he's moving there. well i think hes joking because hes been known to do crap like that and hes joked around like that a couple times in the past. but idk if he's serious or not i love him and he says he loves me but if he did, he wouldnt want to move down there anyway. but idk if hes joking or not. please help.

As for him moving, even if he loves you he still has to move. He can't not move just because you love eachother, he's not a legal adult yet, so he has to live with his parents or a guardian. He may not like moving down there, but has to.
Just find out if he's joking or not. Easiest way is to just come out and ask him. I can't tell you if he's joking or not, because I don't know that answer.

Cux answered Monday July 16 2007, 8:48 pm: Just ask him straight up. If he's been known to do this type of stuff- then he could very well be pulling your leg. Tell him that you really need to know because you like him a lot and you don't want him to lie to you.

Tell him that if he wants to have a real relationship with you.. it needs to be based on trust. If he can't be honest with you.. he isn't who you should be going after. Relationships can't be based on silly lies.
If he's actually moving, I'm really sorry.. it sounds like you really like him. Just make sure to spend some extra time with him before he leaves, that is, if you're friends in person.. not just online.. and you've never seen him before.. that would be odd.
