hitachi help plz

ok i just bought a camcorder from the pawn shop, and it didn't come with instructions :/ it has a tape in it and the tape has something on it but i don't know exactly how to start recording, the tape doesn't have much stuff on it but do i need a new tape? it came with all the cord's and stuff but i don't know how to work the thing. site's would be helpful, much loveeee:]

well it would be nice if you also included the model number, since all cameras are different, but really it should be incredibly simple. most cameras have a nice red button, push it, and it will start recording. there might be a switch around the button that you need to move up or down. unless you get more specific no one will be able to help you more.

You shouldn't need a new tape, most tapes when just rewound are capable of being written over.
