music for ipod

is there any way to get music on your ipod without using itunes? because it wont download on my computer:if there is how do i do it?

yeah there is.. Through windows media (version 10 not the new one)

I used to use windows media when I got my ipod but I accidentally upgraded it to the newest xp version and it no longer works (I think 11 is the new one)

you download it onto your ipod almost like burning a cd... its way easy

Also if itunes wont go on your comp they have older versions avaiable on apples web site that may work for you.. I see no difference in them besides the older ones seem to run faster and they work with more computers

No. I'm sorry. The only way to get music onto your iPod is to have iTunes. They are meant for each other. Sorry.
