I told my best friend that im in love with him.
He said he only wants to be friends. but then again.. hes always " i miss you. can i call you? i miss your voicee :[ " or when i get a boyfriend and he already has a girlfriend hes all " Im so jealous. I wish I was him. " or " Is he good enough for you? I dont want you to get hurt. I love you too much for that "
We fight like every week. Over the stupidest things. But, he always gives in first. He calls me beautiful and gorgeous and i rarely hear him say those things to his girlfriend. If someone hurts me, He goes after them. He always knows how to make me feel better. And He's told me that i always make him feel better too.
I think we would make the best couple. But, he said the only reason he doesnt ask me out is because if we do break up, it'd kill him and he couldnt take not being friends with me. But, I think we'll still be friends and all if we do break up.
I just dont know how to tell him how much i love him and he understand it.

So basically he loves you but he doesn't want to mess up your friendship. If I were you I would look for ways to convice him that you would still be his friend. Tell him that youve never had such a great friend like him and youll be friends forever no matter what. And little things like that then tell him that you love him and say no matter what youll always still be friends. Just do your best to convince him that your friendship will always be there.

He understands it, and what he is saying is right. You may think that you and him will be friends afterwards if you and him break up but there is a chance that that may not be the case. Then you will not only lose him as a friend but also as a boyfriend.
