hair straightener

Question Posted Saturday July 7 2007, 4:53 pm

i have the wet 2 straight hair straighenter and it's wearing out. the metal part is rusting, i think it's from using it while my hair was wet. well that's what it was meant for. but anyway, i need a new straightener. i have easy hair to work with and it takes me 30 minutes to do my hair with the wet 2 straight hair straightener. but i need a new straightener. please give me good ones that will do my hair in even less time but a reasonable price to buy.

Okay, well there's a few I can recommend. I'm not sure what your budget is, but you said reasonable price. I'm going to give you a sort of budget straighteners I'd use or have used in the past of the ones I'd totally recommend for you to use (the one I use, and the one used at m salon). Just remember sometimes you get what you pay for, and if you get a good straightener that might cost a lot, it'll be well worth it than replacing a new straightener. Food for thought, but I know how pricey they can get. (I'd never recommend non-ceramic. They're so so much better)

Okay a few budget ones first.
Conair had one. I'm not sure how much it is in like Walmart or Target, but this is what I found on Amazon.

Pretty good rating, you know?

Remington has a lot of wet to dry flat irons. They're pretty good, and are pretty well priced. Example is

Price may be different in stores.

More expensive straighteners:

I always use T3. I know in Sephora, it's more money for the straightener. Like $200. It's a really good investment to get this one since it lasts and lasts.

On Amazon though, it is cheaper. But I'm not sure if you'd want to buy one from a website. I totally recommend this one.

Chi is the flat irons used at my salon. They make good flat irons that are wet to dry. Good investment since it'll last, but will break the bank.

Sedu is another example of a more expensive brand that's truly good.

Honestly, I'd go with the more expensive ones. I got my T3 at Sephora, so I didn't have to wait for the flat iron to show up in the mail. You get what you pay for, so you might want to invest in a better straightener if the other one broke on you. Truly it'll last longer too, and you'll not have to buy one more frequently like a cheaper flat iron. My T3 takes seconds to notice my hair to get straighter and I have wavy hair, and an added bonus, you'll not have to wait that long for it to heat up like other irons.

If you want to wait a while and then buy a good one, go with either Conair or Remington. Both are pretty reputable and cheap.

I hope this helps you, and good luck :) If you need anything message.
