if i want to crush a sleeping pill so it would make me fall asleep faster would that be a good idea?

Check with your pharmacist. Chances are, the answer is no. Generally, you should take your medication exactly as it is given. There are exceptions, however, and your pharmacist should be able to answer your question--if not, then your doctor would know.

Please don't do so until you check with a professional. Tampering with medication could cause serious damage. If, for instance, it's supposed to be slow release, releasing it into your system all at once could be very dangerous.

Its made in pill form for a reason, you are supposed to take it as a pill. You shouldn't crush it up.
