Everytime I turn on the computer or go on the internet, music will play randomly. Its music that I don't even listen to so I'm wondering if its because of a virus.

S_C answered Tuesday July 3 2007, 12:03 am: More than likely it isn't a virus. If I go on certain websites then it has some stupid automatic thing that will ask you to do something. It mostly happens when I go on websites looking for myspace layouts or go to lyrics sites when looking for a particular song. It's aggrivating. Have you ever been on myspace and accidentally rolled your mouse over those smileys that never seem to shut up?! Makes you want to go insane haha.
It's probably just that though. I guess unless you're wanting to listen to music on the computer you should probably just keep the volume off. I don't know of any ways to stop it, but it may lighten you up knowing that it isn't a virus (unless what I'm describing is totally different than what you're experiencing.
Also, if you use AIM then people (I'm not sure how) can have a quick piece of music play every time they sign on or come back from being away/idle etc.

Just google Free Computer cleaner. :]
