My girlfriend and I have been discussing having sex for a while now, and just recently she has gone on the pill. There's still a chance of pregnancy with the pill, and we were wondering what days of the month (according to when she has her period) are the safest times to have sex. We thought it was before, but now it seems that the most firtile times are after she has her period. Can someone please help us understand this? We've looked up things but haven't found much.

Really, there's no way of telling exactly when she's ovulating because all girls are different. The pill is a great method of birth control, but I highly suggest you use two forms of protection if you want to have sex (i.e. the pill AND a condom).
