thanks for your help, I do change the tampon every few hours, but i never knew it happened after 8 hours so i shouldn't ever sleep with one in right? and if you leave one in for 8 hours with you definately get it or just a chance? thanks! =]

Never sleep in one.. unless you wake up at a certain time to change it.

It's just a chance. If you don't get tss, you'll get an infection because pieces of the tampon would be stuck in you.
