how do i lose weight and what kind of low calorie foods should i eat

What I'm doing, is i'm on 1500 calories per day diet. sometimes i go a little less than that. but not by much.
Don't try to change your eating habits all at once. usually people don't do well on those kind of diets.
For the first week, just try eating healthier. Start by replacing Soda with water, iced tea, oj, fruit juices. and replace your snacks with whole grain, fruits, veggies, salads, stuff like that.
Seventeen.com (new body, new you challenge) has a lot of good recipes for the week on that.
Second Week, start cutting back on the food. Only buy like a third though. This is when you start counting your calories and you start working out more. Buy POM tea at Hannaford. It has special antioxidents in them that help you burn fat and loose weight. Also with the Working Out, start Running, Jogging, Walking for 40 minutes per day with like 60 situps.

when you buy snacks look for the 100 calorie ones..they're the best.
